… and while we’re talking blue, here is one of the stranger views of earth from the International Space Station.

A first experiment with a borrowed telescope.
A composite of the views through two narrow band solar telescopes - on the left, the sun in red light (Ha) on the right, blue/violet light (CaK). Each of these filters isolates a different region of the sun’s chromosphere.
For now, you will have to imagine the colors. My camera is monochrome (b&w) and I have yet to process the videos and prepare final images.
